My broad research interests are in modelling large datasets to determine the primary drivers of mammal declines in Australia, and to identify effective conservation management options. I am especially interested in the conservation management of arboreal mammals in the tropical savannas of northern Australia, having completed the founding ecological study on the newly described marsupial glider Petaurus ariel.
All of my research projects have been collaborative projects with multiple stakeholders. Effective research requires building and maintaining collaborative partnerships, which is an aspect of research that I greatly enjoy.
