Research interests
Andrew has a background in spatial science, principally mapping of burnt areas and savanna vegetation using various satellite-based data. He has also studied the various effects of fire on savanna vegetation, having measured these effects in the field for many years and extrapolated the field-based knowledge using spatially explicit analyses of fire metrics and habitat mapping.
