Research interests

Dr Andrew Richardson is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work, specialising in relationship based social work practice with adults. His research areas focus on psychodynamic practice, social policy, strengths-based and participatory approaches. Andrew holds a Professional Doctorate in Social Work and is Fellow of both the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH). Publications include a Special Issue of the Journal of Social Work Practice on the subject of personalisation of adult social care in the UK and Europe.
