Behailu Tariku Derseh, born in Teferi Kela in 1985 and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has held various organizational positions. He obtained a BSc in Environmental Health Science from Jimma University in 2006 and an MSc in Biostatistics and Health Informatics from Mekelle University, Ethiopia, in 2013.
Throughout his career, he has served as an environmental sanitation officer, health extension program coordinator, Head of the health information administration department, and Education Quality Assurance and Relevance Coordinator at Health Science College, Debre Berhan University, Ethiopia. He has also worked as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Health Science College, Debre Berhan University, and has been involved in various university committees and affairs.
Mr. Behailu's research and contributions to public health are readily available through platforms such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate,
and ORCID by Scopus. He has a substantial body of work, with over 32 articles published in international journals. Furthermore, he has dedicated over 15 years to serving his community as an expert, leader, teacher, author, reviewer, examiner, and mentor. He has received awards and certificates, including a promotion certificate of Assistant Professor award by Debre Berhan University in recognition of his significant contributions to teaching, research, community service, and university activities.
