Personal profile

Research interests

My first career was in nursing so have a background in healthcare and wellbeing which has determined many of my research interests.  I then moved my career focus to Libraries and have worked in various library sectors including tertiary, public, TAFE and academic.

My passion is particularly around evidence-based practice both in health and learning. My focus is on developing partnerships to support learners no matter what their field of interest and to work with students, academics and researchers to better understand and use the tools and resources available.

I have worked to develop relationships with other academic libraries and have published in the areas of digital and Information literacy skills and how learning styles need to be considered when embedding library tutorials and materials into course content.
