Brien Roberts is a PhD candidate at RIEL under the supervision of A/ Prof. David Crook, A/Prof. Alison King, Dr John Morrongiello, Dr Thor Saunders and A/ Prof. David Morgan. His research aims to explore how individual-level variation in barramundi migration behaviour affects growth, maturation schedules and population productivity. Prior to his PhD research, Brien worked as an aquaculture technician at Southern Ocean Mariculture cultivating abalone in southwest Victoria. Brien holds an Honours degree in Environmental Science, with a major in freshwater biology & management from Deakin University (Warrnambool campus).
