I came to Darwin nearly 20 years ago to teach information technology and accounting at senior school level, before being invited to teach
maths as well. This led me to complete a second degree, in science, with a maths major and statistics minor from Charles Sturt University
(CSU). My degree also included some environmental science and geology subjects and an introduction to geographic information systems.
I consider myself a lifelong learner. My Honours degree was on spacetime geostatistics with precipitation isotopes as the case study. I will
be using a numerical/statistical approach to understanding isotopes in hydrology for my PhD.
