Research interests

Dr Daile Lynn Rung is a sociologist and social policy researcher whose work broadly explores the health, wellbeing, and social inclusion outcomes of people from First Nations, migrant, and refugee backgrounds. Her research approach is strongly informed by postcolonial feminist and decolonising theories, intersectionality, and human rights discourses. Prior to academia, Daile contributed to gender equality and domestic violence reduction policies for the Northern Territory Government and worked and volunteered with migrant and refugee community groups.
