Research interests
David has worked in the NT Health ICT industry for over 25 years. He has experience in management, development and advocacy roles. In the past seven years has managed research projects in remote Telehealth and its use and acceptance. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health which is a peak body for Health Informatics and Digital Health that merged the Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) and the Australasian College of Health Informatics (ACHI) in 2020.
David has published several times in peer reviewed journals, has presented papers at national and international conferences. He is currently working full time with NTPHN as a Technical Lead on its organisation wide commissioning system redevelopment. David is undertaking his PhD part-time and is a lead researcher on two CRCNA projects focused on Telehealth.
