Dr Debbie Hohaia is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Societies lecturing in the field of Teacher Education. She is a Ngāti Maru woman from Taranaki, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and has taught in Primary and Adult Education. Debbie's interests include inclusive pedagogy, decolonising methodolgies and cultural responsiveness. Her PhD is titled The Potential Benefits to the Australian Defence Force Educational Curriucla of the Inclusion of Indigenous Knowledge Systems, 2016.
