Deborah Holt is a molecular biologist with a research focus on bacterial and parasitic pathogens of significance in tropical regions of the world, including remote Australian Indigenous communities. She has a particular interest in pathogen genome sequence data analysis and its application in the development of rapid molecular surveillance and identification tools.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
