Research interests

My name is Devika NairI completed a Masters of Town & Country planning form Calicut University from Kerala, India in 2016 and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree at Calicut University in 2012. My Master’s thesis was ‘Decentralised solid waste management plan for a local body in Kerala, India’ and have done paper presentation in India (2016) about this. I have a work experience as Senior Engineer in Larsen & Toubro for two years after my Bachelors degree and as Research Associate in a research organisation called Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) for one year after my Masters. This was followed by one more year of work experience as Planner Associate in Town & Country Planning Department, Kerala, India. I came to Australia in March 2020 to commence my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Sean Bellairs and Dr. Ken Evans.
