 Dr Emma Smith is an infectious diseases physician at Royal Darwin Hospital and a PhD candidate at Menzies School of Health Research
and Charles Darwin University. She trained in the UK and has also worked in sub-Saharan Africa. Her research focuses on improving
models of care for tuberculosis in remote First Nations communities in the Top End of the Northern Territory of Australia, working in
partnership with community members.
