Research interests
Frédérique (Frederika) has a background in hydrogeology: Master of Science in Hydrogeology at the University of Avignon, France, and Specialised Master at the National School for Water and Environmental Engineering, Strasbourg, France. She worked for a decade in Europe, Africa and Asia as a hydrogeologist and water consultant. For the past 10 years, Frédérique has worked as a Groundwater Scientist in New Zealand and, more recently, in Australia.
Her focus is on applied research projects, particularly assessing how climate change and land use affect groundwater, to support resource management decisions and the initiation of climate change adaptation actions.
