Gillian Gorham is the Head of the Renal Health Program at Menzies School of Health Research and Divisional Leader of the Wellbeing and Preventable Chronic Disease Division. Her work and that of the program, has a strong focus on evidence translation and the implementation of research findings into policy and practice. Gillian has a keen interest in evaluating models of care to identify ways to improve service integration, health outcomes and the experiences of individuals with mulitmorbidity. Gillian currently leads the development of a digital clinical decision support tool that consolidates clinical information from government and non-government, primary and tertiary health services to support the delivery of integrated care for people with complex chronic diseases. She has worked at the local and national level to develop strategic documents for the delivery of renal services. Publications include government reports, strategic plans and peer reviewed manuscripts. Gillian's PhD focussed on the comparative costs and benefits of dialysis models of care in urban, rural and remote locations.
