Research interests
Grace has resided in the Northern Territory for over a decade, during which she has undertaken various professional roles, including youth
worker, teacher, principal, teacher coach, and currently, lecturer at Charles Darwin University (CDU). Her career spans a diverse range of
educational settings and organisations, including the Don Dale Youth Detention Centre, remote and very remote schools, Catholic schools,
urban schools, and the Curriculum Development Team at Teach for Australia. Grace holds a Diploma of Linguistics from CDU and is deeply
committed to the integration of diverse languages into educational curricula. Her work is particularly focused on increasing the
representation of Aboriginal teachers in remote Northern Territory schools. Currently, she contributes to this goal through her role in the
First Nations Teacher Education Hub at CDU. Family is central to Grace's life, which is reflected in their presence in her photo, symbolising
the importance of their support and connection in her journey.
