Research interests
Gusti Agung Ayu Pramitasari is a PhD Candidate in the College of Education. Her research focuses on exploring how a non-formal education influence the rural youth agency in overcoming their disadvantage by exploring not only within an educational context but also cultural, social and economic context. Ayu’s recent academic achievements include acceptance of her research papers in multiple conferences in Australia, Japan and the United States. Ayu has twenty-five years professional career was in consulting, central bank and financial service industry focusing on change management and human capital management in various companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia. Her passion for education and concern on youth poverty has led her to establish a free non-formal education centre for disadvantaged children. She had been invited as a speaker in numerous event on a topic related to talent development, change management, leadership development, economic development and financial planning.Currently, Ayu actively involved in promoting Australia and Indonesia partnership through Australia-Indonesia Business Council (AIBC)and supporting Charles Darwin University’s collaboration with educational institutions in Indonesia. Ayu obtained her undergraduate degree in Accounting from University of Padjadjaran, Bandung, Indonesia, completed Master of Business Administration from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
