Research interests

Jenni Webber is a lecturer in Education and a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Arts and Society. Jenni is an experienced teacher with over 20 years working in urban, regional, remote and very remote schools across the Top End of the Northern Territory. Her experience includes leadership roles in both schools and in corporate settings. She has contributed nationally as an advisory panel member for the writing of the Australian Curriculum: Geography as well as an executive member of the Australian Science Teachers Association. Jenni’s PhD research focuses on how to meet the diverse learners' needs in our NT schools and collaborate with communities to identify suitable measures for success for First Nations learners. The working title for her Ph.D. is Identifying Measures for Success in Education for Yolŋu Students: Yuwalkŋu Däwur (true stories) from East Arnhem, Northern Territory.
