Research interests
Jess is a registered midwife with experience in public health program design and evaluation in remote and resource-limited settings. Jess is
currently a PhD student with the Molly Wardaguga Institute for First Nations Birth Rights. Her proposed PhD project will be conducted in
Galiwin’ku, a remote Yolŋu community in North East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, and the location of Australia’s first very remote
Birthing on Country demonstration site.
