Research interests

Karlee Peacock is a PhD candidate focusing on reptile ecophysiology under the supervision of Prof. Keith Christian (CDU), with the support of associate supervisors Prof. Craig Moritz (ANU) and Dr. Christine Schlesinger (CDU). Her current research aims to understand how dtellas may specialise physiologically in relation to their distribution and habitat types. Prior to her PhD research, Karlee has studied estuarine crocodiles from a predator ecology perspective. She has also worked with reptiles, with a specific focus on estuarine crocodiles, across multiple establishments, and continues to do so alongside her PhD research. Karlee holds an Honours in Environmental Biology from Charles Darwin University, and a BSc in Zoology Conservation Biology from the University of Western Australia.
