Kavini Thisara Welarathne is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Charles Darwin University, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information Technology, specializing in Software Engineering, from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). Her PhD research focuses on the intersection of autism and cybercrime, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for cybercrime prevention and detection. She conducts her research under the supervision of Professor Mamoun Alazab.
