Kerryn has a long work history in the promotion of health equity. She started out as a clinician working with individuals before moving onto addressing systems and structures that cause social inequities and make people sick in the first place.

Kerryn's PhD study was a realist evaluation of a doula support program for women experiencing socioeconomic adversity. She now works remotely (from Melbourne) with CDU as a Senior Research Fellow for the Realist Evaluation, Research and Learning Initiative in the Northern Institute, on commisioned realist evaluations, and methodological development.
