Dr. Khalid Khan is a Senior Lecturer in Education-Mathematics at Charles Darwin University's Faculty of Arts and Society in Australia. He has a long history of research publications and has written and presented papers on various subjects, including Differential Geometry in Pure Mathematics, Data Literacy, Questioning, Sense-making in Mathematics, 21st-Century Skills, and STEM Education. 
His work in pure mathematics was highlighted in a recent World Scientific monograph on Wrapped Product Manifolds. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals and as a referee for several academic journals.
He is currently the Treasurer of the Northern Territory Branch of the Australian Computer Society and the Vice Chair of the Darwin Chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery-USA. 
Digital technology, mathematics, question formulation, educational issues in a post-truth culture, data literacy and educational curricula, and sense-making in STEM are among his current research interests.
