Ms Tsai is the current recipient of a scholarship for undertaking her doctoral study. She had been involved in many research studies aimed to improve health and wellbeing of the workforce. Ms Tsai successfully completing her Masters in Research with publications and conference presentations on the adaptation of single refugee mothers from Burundi now living in Australia. Her research interest also include health and wellbeing of immigrants, particularly those living with a chronic condition. Her research program in the wellbeing of people who are adapting to a particular event has led to her PhD topic about the adaptation of new informal immigrant carers who are assisting a family member with a chronic illness. Additionally, she is exploring the acceptability of coaching, as a potential strategy, in the immigrant culture.
