Lolita is a registered nurse and teaching focused Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health. Her research areas focus on investigating the prevalence of urinary incontinence in women powerlifters, weightlifters, and CrossFit participants.

Lolita’s scholarly activities fall into five main categories: the assessment of simulated clinical skills, teaching large online student cohorts, supporting the academic success of pregnant and parenting students, supporting the academic success of remote and rural students, and supporting the academic success of First Nations students.
