Research interests
The nexus of my research is to understand the theoretical practicality of the concept of resilience applied in disaster management. Utilizing the Systems Science lenses especially the Resilience Thinking paradigm to deconstruct the socioecological resilience of complex adaptive system of a whole community; I exploit the futuristic thinking method of scenario planning to construct the resilience planning framework to known and unknown system stressors and shocks; This qualitative design and development research embraces the case study methodology focused on the pressing complex hazardous phenomenon of Kere, a compounded catastrophic effect of drought, poverty, and famine in the southern part of Madagascar.
