Research interests
Dr Maneka Jayasinghe is currently a lecturer in Economics in the College of Business and Law. Her teaching areas include Economics, Business Statistics and Quantitative Methods. Her research interests include Feminist Economics, Consumer Demand Analysis, and Poverty and Income Inequality and her research mainly focuses on South Asia and Australia. She holds a PhD in Economics (Griffith University, Australia), Masters in Public Policy (National University of Singapore, Singapore) and Bachelor of Arts in Economics (University of Colombo, Sri Lanka).
