Research interests

Manoj Bhatta is a PhD candidate in the Research Institute for the Environment and Livelihoods (RIEL) under the supervision of Prof. Stephen Garnett. His research project aims to understand the effectiveness of the conservation governance in red pandas, their habitats, provision of ecosystem goods and services from these habitats and livelihoods. Prior to his PhD research. Manoj Bhatta worked as an Environmental Officer for various development projects in Nepal Manoj Bhatta has also worked as a lecturer for Tribhuvan University Affiliated Colleges. Manoj holds a BSc and MSc in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University.
