Personal profile

Research interests

My  research interests include manager/leader influence on workplace learning in nursing and health care contexts. My interest in this area is reflected in my thesis: 'Nursing unit managers' learning facilitation practices: A philosophical hermeneutic study'.  I am also interested in student-student interaction and its influence on learning in the online environment.

Methodologies that explore language as the source of meaning are also among my  ongoing research interests.
