My qualifications include a Master of Education (Adult); Dip. of Counselling (A.I.P.C.); and a range of Cert. IV’s including Business Counselling (A.P.E.C.); Small Business Management Programs (SBM/NEIS/SEDS/GCEDS); Senior Consultant and Assessor in R.P.L.; A. & W.P.T.; and Q.A.S. Internal auditing.

As an educator and counsellor, I developed a broad range of accredited and non-accredited vocational programs to address the learning needs of diverse groups and communities. These include justice and homeless youth; volunteer-community mentors; a First Nation artists cooperative; adult workforce re-entry; sole and small group new business enterprises; and staff and employee development. As an employment development project officer (A.S.O. 5 – 7), I produced vocational and staff programs for State and local governments, industry and registered training organisations and job network providers. Education in SBM was delivered through universities and technical institutions, industry and registered training organisations, job networks and business enterprise centres. Projects achieved strong outcomes and attracted broad government and community support, sponsorship and funding; also awards such as Local Government Best Practice. Additionally, I was the personnel and training manager and internal quality assurance auditor, for a private company of 250 employees and the vice president of a TafeSA industry-training consultative committee.
