Research interests include historical and contemporary theories of text, the relationship of text to the body, and to contemporary arts practice. My own creative practice engages video, installation, print, text, and wax and is informed by queer theory, philosophy, and biblical studies.
Through practice-based research methodologies, I’m interested in exploring the intersections of language, epistemology, translation, and embodiment. How text moves through bodies, how bodies move through text, and how this further queers ontologies and epistemologies.
Contributions to knowledge include installations, artworks, interdisciplinary collaborations and publications through Riso-based independent publisher SPLIT/SHIFT PRESS.
