Research interests

Mingxiao Zhao, was born in 1990, China. She holds a master’s degree in Professional Accounting from Charles Darwin University. Mingxiao completed a Master’s Degree in Second Language Acquisition in China by participating in the Higher Education and Teaching Reform Project Fund in 2015 from Northeast Forest University in China and has a Bachelor Degree in English from Wefang University Science and Technology in China.

She now devotes her energies to track frontier research in the Chinese context. After joining the doctoral course, she has developed a keen interest in intellectual capital (IC) research. The multi-disciplinary academic background has now helped Mingxiao analyse and synthesise intellectual capital with Triple Bottom Line, which dwells into China’s long-term development vision.

Mingxiao is now pursuing her research interests in intellectual capital, sustainable development, financial performance, business models, sustainable performance, board diversity, and intellectual capital disclosures.
