Research interests

I am currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Arts and Society, Charles Darwin University (CDU). I am a lecturer in the Marine Science Department Khairun University, Ternate, Indonesia. I received a Bachelor of Marine Science from Pattimura University and a Master of Science (Environmental Management Shallow Sea and Coastal Area) from Hasanuddin University.

My experience is in the fields of disaster management, oceanography, environmental impact assessment, and coastal geomorphology. I am a member of the Higher Education National Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction, Ternate Resilient City Forum, Ternate city climate change adaptation working group, and Indonesian Experts of Coastal Environmental Management. I am also involved in several disaster and climate resilience projects, short courses, and workshops held by local, national, and international institutions and NGOs.

My research interests are Coastal Disaster Management, Marine Pollution, and Environmental Management.
