Research interests
Mujiburrahman has ten years experience in disaster management in Indonesia working for international organisations such as Save the Children, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). He was a receiver of the Young Scientist Award from the Integrated Research on Disaster Risk. In 2018 he was awarded the LPDP Scholarship from the Indonesian Government to pursue a PhD in Humanitarian, Emergencies and Disaster Management Studies at Charles Darwin University. His current research is about creating a unified effective multi-hazard early warning system in decentralised network governance in Indonesia.
