Research interests

Dr Nathan Franklin is Lecturer in Indonesian Studies at CDU. His research interests include Indonesian politics, history, and society, political Islam, Indonesian language and culture, Southeast Asian politics and history, as well as East Asian politics. He has published on Indonesian politics and Islam, as well as governance and decentralisation in peer-reviewed articles, presented at numerous conferences, and written a book review.
