I work as Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance at Charles Darwin University. In my research I have worked on areas that go beyond traditional accounting and finance such as Carbon emissions, Cryptocurrency, Initial public offerings, real estate pricing and impact of war on economic development in African countries. My current research interests are in emerging markets, stock market volatility, international investments, market integration, regulatory quality, global power, ESG and impact of emissions on international stock markets.
I have visited and connected with several universities working on various types of projects in Australia, the USA, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, India and China. I have also presented specialist invited lectures in topics of international finance, corporate finance and financial planning across the world.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
