Research interests

Dr Ruth Nicholls is a senior adviser in Performance, Monitoring and Evaluation at the National Indigenous Australians Agency. Ruth works as an in-house developmental evaluator, supporting projects through co-design processes. She has previously led the Evaluation Capability team, and developed the Agency's Evaluation Framework.

 

Ruth has a Masters in Evaluation from the University of Melbourne; and a PhD in social sciences from Western Sydney University, drawing on learnings from participatory action research in partnership with an Aboriginal community organisation.
