Research interests
Dr Sajith Kesavan Nayar is a Renal Physician based in Alice Springs Hospital for the last 9 years closely involved in First Nations Peoples
healthcare in Central Australia. I have focused on addressing various issues related to acute and chronic illness related to kidney diseases.
I have published various articles which is very unique to the Central Australia population helping in patient care. My current research
investigates the low attendance rate of haemodialysis patients in Central Australia, aiming to identify underlying factors and barriers and
co-design a multidisciplinary pathways to enhance the patient journey and health outcomes.
