Personal profile
Research interests
I am currently pursuing a Master’s by Research degree in India, focusing on the intersection of Internet of Things (IoT) security and
Software-Defined Networking (SDN). My academic journey builds upon a substantial professional background as a Network and Security
Engineer, during which I attained certifications in CCIE, CCNP, and CCNA. I hold a B-Tech degree from Manipal Institute of Technology in
India. My hands-on experience encompasses a wide range of technologies, including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless devices, and SDN
technology, primarily from Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto devices.
Motivated by my expertise in SDN and a strong security-oriented mindset, I chose to delve into IoT systems, which present extensive
attack surfaces. My research aims to enhance the security of IoT networks by leveraging SDN technology to increase data visibility and
control. Given the large attack surface and the inherently insecure nature of many IoT devices, it is imperative to implement robust security
measures that account for the resource-constrained nature of these devices.
