Research interests

Shaun Levick is an Associate Professor in the College of Engineering, IT and Environment, specialising in remote sensing and geoinformatics. His research and teaching explores the dynamics of ecosystems in three-dimensions, and uses big data analytics to improve natural asset accounting and sustainable landscape management. Shaun holds a PhD in Ecology and is jointly appointed as a Principal Research Scientist within CSIRO Land and Water. He has published in leading international journals including Nature Communications, PNAS, Ecology Letters and Remote Sensing of the Environment. Shaun is an avid nature photographer.
