Research interests
In a 40 year career in the UK and Ireland, Zambia, Botswana, Vanuatu and Australia, Simon has lectured on a broad range of accountancy and business related subjects to professional accountancy students, school leavers, undergraduates, postgraduates, civil servants, the judiciary, police and armed forces officers and has helped to establish accountancy schools in Africa and the Pacific. He wrote the first book on Botswana Taxation and also on Vanuatu Company Law. He currently lectures HE students on Financial and Corporate Accounting. He has is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CA ANZ), an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and is a Committee Member of CA ANZ in the Northern Territory.
