Research interests
Stephen completed his Bachelors (hons) and Masters of Engineering at RMIT, before moving into consulting, where he was a senior hydrogeologist at SLR Consulting in Townsville. Stephen’s Masters project focused on the use of hydrochemistry and isotopic tracers in groundwater to identify the origins of salinity and its links to palaeo-environmental setting in a multi-layered coastal aquifer in Victoria. He is currently a PhD candidate involved in compiling an Australia-wide groundwater hydrochemistry and isotope database which will be used to extract certain datasets for further assesments.
