Steven’s research interests and expertise traverse the fields of child and family welfare, child protection, and social policy. He is skilled in conducting sensitive research with service users in Australian and international contexts across complex welfare and practice settings, as well as generating evidence to inform policy and practice, exemplified by his range of publications in leading international social work and policy journals.
