Dr Winnie Chen is a general practitioner with academic interests in editing, teaching and research.
Winnie is undertaking her PhD with the Territory Kidney Care team at Menzies. Her research focuses on chronic diseases, health informatics, and health economics.
Winnie works as a clinical editor to develop NT-specific clinical guidelines for GPs. Previously, she was a medical editor at the Medical Journal of Australia. She teaches year 3 medical students at Flinders NT and has worked as a GP across Aboriginal medical services and mainstream GP clinics in the NT.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
