Research interests
Yannan is a Phd candidate at the Energy and Resources Institute (ERI). His doctoral research explores the development of organic thermoelectric materials for waste heat harvesting and wearable devices. He graduated with a petroleum engineering background and previously worked in industry on emission reduction and renewable energy projects in China before starting his PhD at Charles Darwin University. He is particularly interested in the water-soluble conductive polymers developed as wearable electric generators and temperature sensors.
