Description

This project is a pilot research consisting of desktop study and surveys. The desktop study reviews existing information regarding educational and professional pathways through VET and higher education for Indigenous women to study Engineering. The surveys were conducted using online SurveyMonkey to identify interests from Indigenous women to study Engineering and to explore the opinion and support from academic and engineering industry. The results from this research project will be beneficial for decision-makers in engineering education as well as in Indigenous knowledge and policy. This pilot research will also be a stepping stone for larger scale projects.
