Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This start-up grant will be used to run a small pilot project whose results will inform an upcoming ARC Discovery Project application.
This grant will be used to (1) support fieldwork activities in Elsey National Park where we will be collecting soil and stem samples, and (2) develop and test a new method to extract water from soil and stem samples using a centrifuge located in Yellow 2. If successful, this method will form the basis of our proposal to the ARC.
