Description

The CDU Cash contribution will be used to cover the costs of employing 3 x First Nations Community Research Assistants to assist in qualitative data collection. Cultural Knowledge holders will assist in translating from local languages to English to the projects. This contribution will assist in paying a consultant to provide videography and photography services to provide audio-visual resources for the Djäkamirr training. Airfares and accommodation will allow researchers to attend in-person meetings with community members and stakeholders and data collection across the 3 sites in Nowra, Alice Springs and Galiwin’ku (via Darwin). Catering costs for research focus groups will provide refreshments for focus groups/one-on-one interviews.
