Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Our project includes:

1. A scoping project to explore how other universities are drawing together staff working in the climate change space, specifically combining its arts and science disciplines, and beyond this, how other universities (particularly regional institutions) are sharing research, expertise and creative output with their local communities. We plan to employ a HDR student / research assistant to help us with this element of our project.

2. Engaging in consultations with First Nations’ groups and key government and scientific / environment sector stakeholders to discuss how CDU can best collaborate with (and serve) the community, as well as enhance the Territory’s response to the climate emergency.

3. Training for project team members on the key priorities for climate change actions and solutions in the NT, as well as in climate change leadership skills.
