Description
Rainmaker Start-Up Funds are required to develop CDU’s credibility and pitch materials for future external funding proposals relating to sustainability issues in Indonesia and the region, such as democracy, social equality and justice, political and economic stability.
There are significant funding opportunities for developing research partnerships between Australian institutions and other neighbouring Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries, including Indonesia; e.g. Australia Indonesia Partnership for Education Quality Improvement (AIPEQI) (https://www.tenders.gov.au/Atm/Show/38f991c7-f579-4797-8979-58b4e87bd08c). The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) also regularly have development assistance initiatives for the APAC region, these include Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, and others; e.g. https://www.dfat.gov.au/geo/indonesia/development-assistance/development-assistance-in-indonesia. Various funding opportunities frequently arise in these areas.
Currently CDU/FAS has no developed proposal or pitch materials to take advantage of these related external funding opportunities.
